FLXW is a Canadian sole proprietorship operated by Cole Matlock. These terms cover using this website. Project work runs on its own written proposal and contract, signed through Docuseal, and that contract is what governs the engagement.

The content on this site is here to explain what I do. Prices shown are starting points, and every project gets an exact fixed quote in writing before any work begins. I try to keep everything accurate, but the proposal you sign is the document that counts.

Project work
Every engagement gets a written proposal with scope, timeline and price, and a contract signed by both of us before I start. Your domain is registered to you on every job. When a website is delivered and paid for, it's yours. Apps and management systems work differently. I own and host the code and you pay a monthly subscription that covers the hosting, the upkeep and support, and your data is still yours and you can ask for an export any time. If you ever want to move an app or a system to your own hosting or another developer, there's a one-time moving fee and I hand over the code, the data, the accounts and the docs. The exact fees are in your contract.
