I'm Cole Matlock.
Flow is my one-person business. I handle the first call, design, development and launch, then run the hosting.
FLXW is a Canadian sole proprietorship. It started as an inventory system I built for DomCast Metals, where I'd spent years in the yard booking trucks and running shipments. Now I build websites, apps and automations for other small businesses too.
I'm also a student at RMIT in Melbourne, so part of the year I run this from Australia. Deadlines have held so far, and if your project needs me in the same time zone I'll say so on the call before you pay anything.
Why I started
Software should fit the way you work.
I got into this watching a shop change how it worked just to keep a piece of software happy. There were steps that only existed because the program wanted them, a spreadsheet nobody trusted that stayed around because nothing else could read it, and the same packing slip getting typed twice.
That's backwards. The business already knows how it runs, so the software is the part that should move. I ask how the work actually happens, in your words, and I build around that.
What's running now
What I have built.
DomCast Metals in Windsor has been casting since 1938 and they've run their shipments on a system I built every day since August 2025. It reads their packing slips, puts out the Bills of Lading and drafts the carrier email for staff to review and send, and sending that email is what moves the stock count.
Ignite HRT was client number one. A 21-page clinic website with a scheduler wired into the software the staff already work out of, launched August 2026 and live today.
LiftLabb is my own app. Nobody hired me for it. I built it because I lift and none of the trackers I tried worked the way I train. It's live on the web with an iOS beta and I use it every week, so bugs get found and fixed quickly.
The smallest job I take is an automation. DomCast used to post to Instagram by hand and now a flow I built does it. It's all written up with the screens and the numbers on my work page.
How I work

One fixed number
01 / 04You get one fixed number in writing before I start, and you pay 50% to start, 25% at the halfway build, and 25% at launch, so by the time you've paid half of it you've already clicked around a working version. If a job is bigger than the from-price on the pricing page, I say the real number on the call.
A website is yours
02 / 04Your domain is registered to you from day one. A website is yours, hosting is a yearly line item you can pay me or take somewhere else, and changes after launch are hourly.
An app or a system
03 / 04An app or a system stays hosted and run by me on a monthly subscription, and your data is still yours and you can ask for an export any time.
Moving it somewhere else
04 / 04If you ever want to take it in house or hand it to another developer, there's a one-time moving fee and you get the code, the data, the accounts and the docs.
